New to Life Church?

Visiting a church for the first time can be a bit unsettling, simply because you do not know what to expect. We want your visit to Life Church to be as pleasant an experience as possible. With that in mind, we have listed answers to the most common questions from guests to Life Church.

When are the weekly Worship Services?

We have three identical worship services every Sunday morning at 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30am.

We offer children’s ministry (infants-5th grade) during all three worship services so your kids can learn about God on their own level with age-appropriate activities.

Middle school ministry (6th-8th grade) is at 10:00am, and our high school ministry (9th-12th grade) is at 11:30am.

Where are you located?

Life Church is located at 1393 E Woodview Dr (CR 271) just north of Crystal Falls Parkway 100 feet off of 183A and around the corner from Rouse High School in Leander, Texas.

Where do I go when do I get there?

On Sunday mornings you can park in specially designated guest parking near the entrance to the building. As you enter the building, you will find greeters and Connection Center where friendly people will be there to answer any questions you may have or to direct you wherever you need to go. Of course, any of our people will be happy to help you with any questions you have.

What is the worship service like?

We have upbeat and heartfelt worship that will help you experience God. We also present relevant and biblical messages in a real and authentic way that will help you connect your faith with everyday life. We promote a relaxed and casual atmosphere where both believers and seekers are welcomed just as they are - no matter their background. We are especially open to "unchurched" or "dechurched" people who have for whatever reason never gone to church or who have dropped out along the way. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where all people can come and feel welcomed.

What about my kids?

Children

We believe your kids will love it here! While the parents are in the worship service, children can learn on their own level about Jesus Christ. For smaller children, we have a well-equipped nursery, staffed by caring parents like yourself to care for your children while you worship. We also have a Cry Room in the back of the worship center that parents of infants can use. For our older children, we have activities where they will learn through songs, crafts, Bible stories, games, and group interaction. At the Connection Center just inside the main entrance, you can utilize our Child Check-In to help you get your infants through 5th graders directed to their age-appropriate areas. You and your child will be given security tag with a number that will be used on the overhead screen in the worship service if your child needs you. Your parent security tag will need to be used when you pick up your child.

(All children’s ministry volunteers have had background checks.)

Kids' Check-in Online Pre-registration!

If you want to avoid the lines for Kids' Check-in for new families on Sunday morning, you can preregister online here! Your nametags will be ready and waiting for you in the Connection Center when you arrive.

What should I wear?

Simply, whatever you like. You will see that most are casually dressed. Be comfortable. Come as you are!

What kind of people will be there?

Though we have many young families, we have a real cross-section of people of various ages and cultural backgrounds from the surrounding communities. We are all pretty ordinary people who face the daily struggles of life. No perfect people allowed! Only people who desire to grow.

Will I be put on the spot?

No. You can be as anonymous as you would like. Our greeters will greet you as you come in and people will welcome you, but no one will single you out or ask you to say anything. If you want to communicate with us, you can fill out a Connection Card or speak to someone in the Connections Center. We want you to be relaxed.

What kind of church are you?

We are a non-denominational Bible-based church. For more information, see What We Believe.

If you have any other questions, please call us at (512) 260-5151 or Contact Us.
